+Day 1Arrival Arusha, Transfer Arusha Coffee Lodge
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by a member of Our team, who will transfer you to the Arusha Coffee Lodge for the night, experiencing luxurious accommodation cradled in endless acres of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation.

The aptly named Arusha Coffee Lodge lies hidden amongst the sprawling grounds of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation, set below the rugged peaks of Mt Meru. Guests can unwind in one of the lodge’s exclusive Plantation Suites, which each boast a romantic four-poster bed draped in Egyptian cotton linen, a split-level sitting area, ensuite bathroom, an open fireplace, a personal bar and a private veranda that looks out onto rows and rows of berry-laden coffee bushes.

After breakfast, you will be assisted do a scenic transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival check in at the luxurious Gibbs Farm. Gibb’s Farm is situated against the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and offers a warm and friendly place to experience farm life at its best. Ideal for taking a break from your African safari, Gibb’s Farm retains its historic charm and provides a welcoming retreat on a working farm.
Visit the working coffee plantation, dairy farm and piggery, and perhaps enjoy an interactive experience as you lend a hand in milking the cows, feeding the pigs or joining the farm’s coffee roasters to experience traditional coffee roasting methods. Stroll through the old farmyard, the flower and vegetable garden, or head further out for a guided forest walk to discover a seasonal waterfall and mystical elephant caves. You can even enjoy a guided walk up to the rim of the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Visit the variety of community projects and initiatives to learn more about rural living in Tanzania.

Gibbs Farm is situated on a picturesque coffee estate just outside the town of Karatu and midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. The gracious and sprawling colonial homestead that is set amongst formal English-style gardens. While coffee is still grown, processed and roasted on the farm, a vast fruit and vegetable garden provides almost all of the fresh produce used in the wholesome, delicious meals enjoyed by guests.
Cosy and inviting cottages with private verandas and stone fireplaces scattered in the spacious grounds, while the guest areas, which include a charming living room, two dining rooms and a gift boutique, are situated in the lovingly refurbished old farmhouse. Cosy nooks and crannies invite guests to linger, while the spacious patio boasts sweeping views of the tranquil gardens.
+Days 7-11Serengeti National Park, Nimali Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you will be assisted do a scenic transfer to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival check in at the luxurious Nimali Central Serengeti. The Serengeti together with Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park form Africa’s most famous wildlife park. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many, and then add a Masai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further. A series of traditional domed ‘rondavels' are widely spaced throughout the grounds, which are cooled by groves of acacia trees and watered by sparkling streams. On the very edge of the ridge is a ‘vanishing horizon' pool, which looks out over the Serengeti plains. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. Aside from traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Serengeti plains is amazing and you can also go horseback riding.
